When working on reading today, the second graders discovered that the largest carnivorous dinosaur was Spinosaurus. Scientists believe that they could grow to be up to 18 meters long. We measured it out and determined that’s about the distance from our glass doors to our classroom door.
The Sallie Mae Fund’s Completing the Dream Scholarship Program helps minority students and others from historically underserved communities complete their post-secondary education.
Students in their final year, of college, who are facing financial challenges may apply to receive a one-time scholarship of up to $2,500 to help complete their post-secondary education program.
Scholarship applications for AY 2021-22 will be accepted on a rolling basis until 8/31/22 or until all scholarship dollars have been awarded.

Kindergarten uses ten frames and number bonds as they learn new strategies for solving addition and subtraction problems.
The Lifeskills class would like to thank the Paxton School Foundation for funds to allow them to make a Do It Yourself wooden box. In school students do not have the opportunity to work much with wood.

Damin Luedke, Ally Jay, Jacob Holzfaster, Jayden Gartner, Brenden Jenkins, and Audrey Holm started off our quiz bowl season by traveling to Hitchcock County for RPAC. They came away with wins against Cambridge and Dundy County!
