Our high school science students got the opportunity to Skype a Scientist. We met with Stijn De Baerdemacker, a professor from the University of New Brunswick. He has research expertise in quantum physics, chemistry, and computing. Through our discussion, students got a better idea of what a scientist actually does. Stijn also emphasized that it doesn't matter where you come from, having a curious and questioning mind is what it takes to become a scientist!
