
Paxton High School’s Quiz Bowl Team traveled to Maxwell for RPAC. They finished the afternoon with 5 wins, placing third in their pool!

Paxton Athletic Contests will be open to the Public at 50% occupancy. We plan to monitor attendance and comply with this occupancy requirement per NSAA guidelines. Go Tigers!!!

Welcome Back!!! We are excited to begin our second semester with in-person learning. We continue to work with local and state health officials to monitor COVID 19 in our area. Please help our school stay safe by monitoring your children prior to attending school or activities. Please continue to social distance, wear face coverings, wash your hands, stay home if you are ill and report any symptomatic cases. Your help ensures that our school remains open for in-person learning during this pandemic. Thank you Tiger Families.
Paxton Schools is a member of the NSAA. We will continue to follow NSAA guidelines to avoid any sanctions that may be imposed. Non-compliance may include but not be limited to reprimands, fines or exclusion from the postseason. Support our students by following the protocols.
NSAA guidelines were effective on 1/4/21.
-Active participants are permitted, but not required, to wear face coverings during competition/performance.
-Coaches and non-active participants (those not currently on the court, mat or stage) are required to wear face coverings at all times.
-Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending indoor events. Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth.
-Attendance is restricted to 50% of occupancy.
-6 feet of physical distance between household groups in stands and spectator areas.
-The host school may establish additional requirements in consultation with local health departments. Additional requirements implemented by the host school must be the same for all schools, officials, judges, and spectators.
-Following the conclusion of the final contest, fans should leave the facility immediately. There should be no congregating or socializing in the building.

The NSAA Moratorium begins on December 23rd and runs through December 27th. All key fobs will be deactivated during this time.

Congratulations to the Paxton Lady Tigers winning third-place at the Paxton 2020 Pre-holiday tournament. Paxton 41 Garden County 36. Go Lady Tigers!

Maywood Hayes Center girls get the win over Paxton 50-30. Mullen girls get the win over Garden County 52-13.

At halftime of the Paxton Pre Holiday Tournament. Maywood Hayes Center leads the Paxton Lady Tigers 32-16 and the Mullen Lady Broncos lead Garden County 31-9.

Tues. Dec. 22, 2020 is our last day of the semester. Students will be dismissed at 1:50. We are grateful that we could be TOGETHER IN SCHOOl during the past several months! Thank you all so much for your patience, cooperation and kindness! Have a wonderful Christmas break!

The Perkins Co. basketball games will now be on January 12th. JV will start at 4:30 with Varsity to follow.

The NSAA has updated their restrictions for public attendance of activities. Attendance is still restricted to households and may now include Grandparents. Facial Coverings are required when attending all Winter Activities. Please see attachments for more information.




There will be NO Future Problem Solvers before or after school on Wednesday, 12/16.

Ice & snow might cancel school, but the BLOOD DRIVE must go on, as the need is always there. The drive has been relocated to the Community Hall downtown. Questions call Mrs. Spencer at 308-889-5052.
