Congratulations to our September Students of the Month! Thank you for being shining examples of what it means to be positive, respectful, responsible, and safe! ☺️

Today in Freshman English, students engaged in a reflective activity to honor the significance of September 11, 2001. Students watched an informational video outlining the events of that day and examined the powerful dispatch call log transcript from Todd Beamer, a courageous passenger on United Flight 93 who helped fight back against the terrorist attacks. Following these activities, students were tasked with writing heartfelt letters to individuals directly affected by 9/11 such as first responders, survivors, and families of the victims. In doing so, students were able to foster empathy and gain a deeper understanding of the impact of this pivotal moment in history all while developing their writing skills. #NeverForget
