Ms. Emily from the Nebraska Farm Bureau came to visit Kindergarten today. We learned about the difference between a dairy cow and beef cow. Then we sorted foods based on where they came from. It was a great way to end the week before Thanksgiving break!

At the end of October, Mrs. Stevenson had the opportunity to attend the National Science Teaching Association's National Conference on Science Education in Kansas City. This is one of the largest conferences focused exclusively on science and STEM teaching for students in grades K-20. The conference allowed her to enhance skills and knowledge in key areas vital to successful learning in the classroom, including ensuring that her teaching aligns with state standards. This opportunity was made possible by funding from the John Russell Applegate Grant for Teachers at the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation.
