Girls District XC race is off & running!
Tiger JH volleyball girls struggle on the road today losing first two sets to WaPa. They will be back in action at home for the volleyball tournament on Saturday. Go Tigers!
Good luck to the Paxton junior high volleyball team as well as the junior high football team as they compete against Wauneta-Palidade! Both games start at 1:00!

Family Fall Field Day
Preschool-5th Grade Field Day will be held on Tuesday, October 31 this year! Parents, please join us at the football field from 2:00-3:30 for Fall Themed Field Day events, followed by an opportunity for you to stick around and enjoy more activities together as a family from 3:30-4:30. Students without family members in attendance will be dismissed at normal dismissal times, 3:17 for walkers/car riders, and 3:27 for bus riders.

Starting off the night our JV Tiger volleyball team defeated Kimball 2-0
Paxton FFA officers got the opportunity to meet with other officer teams in the area for Farm Bureau's Connecting Chapters program. FFA members learned and participated in lessons geared toward teaching elementary students about agriculture. We look forward to taking what we learned to our younger students in the coming months.
High School Science Update: Biology is simulating and studying predator/prey relationships, Physical Science is analyzing different aspects of motion with Hot Wheels cars, Environmental Science is looking at various resources provided in different habitats, and Chemistry is identifying different chemicals using their physical and chemical properties.
The Environmental Science class took a trip to WRG in Ogallala to see first hand where all of the recycling they have been collecting goes. Thank you to Aaron for showing us around and reminding us why recycling and recycling properly is so important!
