Today, the 2nd and 3rd grade classes went on a field trip to the Keith Co. Fairgrounds for the AG-splosion event! They learned a lot about soybeans, technology advancements, corn, swine, beef cattle, potatoes, and dairy cattle. We also were able to stop at the Petrified Wood Gallery in Ogallala and see some historical artifacts from our area, the incredible fossil collection, and many other fascinating pieces in the collection.

The 8th graders got to practice finding textual evidence to support claims by investigating a mystery and then presenting their findings in our “classroom court of law.” They had the opportunity to be creative and have fun while also practicing essential ELA skills.
