Paxton School 2nd Annual Turkey Trot A Success!
Elementary, Middle and High School students & staff partnered up to share all that we are thankful for as we walked and ran around the track!
Congratulations! Paxton One Act Cast, Crew & Coaches win RPAC West Division Championship 10th year in a row with their presentation of Peter Pan! Come and watch at Paxton 7 PM Mon. Nov. 26th. Admission: $5 Adults & $4 Students. One Act Pie & Tea/Coffee Fundraiser after the play!
5th graders had our 5th mystery Skype today! We problem solved to find them in Kentucky.
5th grade went on a virtual field trip to the rainforest at the Henry Doorly Zoo. We learned about the animals that live there and their adaptations to survive in this ecosystem. We even learned a new song to remember the 4 levels of a rainforest.
Paxton students gained a better understanding from Alumnus Taylor Dack about the opportunities for students who choose to attend UNL for post-secondary education.

High School Science Update: Physical Science students are investigating factors that affect momentum and Physics students used projectile motion basics to predict how far a marble would roll off their desks.
Anatomy students studied the structure of the eyeball and then dissected cow eyeballs to see those structures in real life!

Paxton Schools initiated a Lockout drill this morning in order to conduct a canine search of our building as a follow up to Red Ribbon Week. Drills like this keep our school a safe place for students and staff.
