The RPAC Track and Field Meet kicks off today in Sutherland.
Reminder to spectators that parking is not allowed on North County Road in Sutherland. Parking can be found south of the discus area and in the parking lot north of the track.

This week the Paxton FFA members had the opportunity to make their way down to the elementary classrooms for their "Tractor Buddies" program. This gives elementary students the chance to read a book and learn more about agriculture and the FFA organization, and FFA members get to know the younger students.

Great day for the Paxton golf team! We placed second as a team with a 363. Ethan shot an 83 and placed 3rd. Wyatt shot an 89 and placed 7th. All of the Paxton golfers were under 100 for the first time in 3 years!

Over the past 5 months students in the beef productions class have been responsible for the management of three head of calves being housed at the Paxton Feeders Program barn. Through this experience they have learned about feed rations, animal nutrition and health, and basic cattle handling.
They have weighed the cattle weekly to gather information on their feed ration efficiency and surpassed their goal of a 2.5 average daily gain by achieving a gain of 2.91 pounds per day.

Congratulations to all of the music students who performed at District Music Contest on 4/25 at Perkins County!

It's RPAC Championships Week for our high school golf and track teams.
Golf will head to Oshkosh on Tuesday then to Curtis on Thursday for the RPAC Tournament.
The track team will head to Sutherland on Friday for the RPAC meet.

Paxton HS Science Olympiad competed at State in Lincoln. Chase and Landon placed 4th in Bridges and 6th in Bottle Rockets!
John and Landon placed 3rd in Air Trajectory!
