Physics students are studying one-dimensional motion. They used motion detectors and an app on the iPads to help them visualize how different motions would look on a graph.
Today, upperclassmen student council members attended the RPAC Student Council Leadership Seminar at McCook Community College.
Students took part in a variety of team-building activities, including a fun scavenger hunt around campus and collaboration sessions with other RPAC schools. They also engaged in a powerful lecture series on how to make a positive impact and create lasting change within our school culture.
During the seminar, our student leaders reflected on what makes our school community special. They expressed their appreciation for Paxton School's well-maintained facilities, the incredible support from our community, the Second Chance Breakfast Program—a program that many other schools envy, and our school's culture of kindness and respect from both staff and students.
Thank you to our Student Council members for representing PHS with pride and enthusiasm! Here's to continuing to grow, learn, and make a positive impact together!

Our K-6 Tiger Run Club just wrapped up a third season! This goal-oriented exercise program took place on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout September. Each session focused on character skills such as good sportsmanship, perseverance, keeping a positive attitude, setting and achieving goals, and understanding the importance of a healthy lifestyle. This year we had 39 participants who ran a total of 423 miles!
