Ms. Tessa from the Nebraska Extension Office has been coming to the kindergarten classroom the last 4 weeks to teach us about the life cycle of a lady bug. We got to keep ladybugs in our classroom and watch them change. Today we released them! 🐞







Congratulations to the Paxton Golf team who placed 4th as a team today in Sutherland! Individually Ethan placed 5th with an 88. Congratulations Tigers!!


We Appreciate our staff at Paxton!! We have a Sub-tastic Staff that enjoyed Subways on Monday and sundaes on this sunny day. We are celebrating our Amazing Staff all week for Teacher/Staff Appreciation week! On Wednesday, Always Kaffeinated will be set up in the southwest corner of the school parking lot. A donation collection has already started. If you would like to show your appreciation for our teachers, paraeducators, and the rest of our staff that makes Paxton Schools a great place, feel free to stop by! Money can be dropped off at the office, sent with your child in an envelope (marked Always Kaffeinated), or visit Always Kaffeinated on Wednesday from 7am-2pm! We THANK YOU and our Tigerific Staff!!


Today,
the 2nd and 3rd grade classes went on a field trip to the Keith Co. Fairgrounds for the AG-splosion event! They learned a lot about soybeans, technology advancements, corn, swine, beef cattle, potatoes, and dairy cattle. We also were able to stop at the Petrified Wood Gallery in Ogallala and see some historical artifacts from our area, the incredible fossil collection, and many other fascinating pieces in the collection.










Our Division B team also had a great showing at State Science Olympiad this last weekend. We are proud of all their hard work and held a watch party at the school to celebrate their achievements. Congratulations to these medal winners:

The 6th graders are writing commerical jingles for new products they have invented.

The road to Omaha Burke will stop in Paxton on Wednesday with the D-8 District Track Meet. Admission is $6 for Adults and $5 for Students. No passes will be accepted.


6th & 7th Grade Orientation


The Paxton JH Track and Field teams will wrap up their season on Monday at the RPAC West meet in Benkelman.


Tyson and Xavier finished their pillowcase in FACS class. Austin is holding a pillowcase made by Humberto.


7th grade boys wanted to try and make Japanese pancakes in FACS class. We experimented and they turned out amazing.
