Mrs. Dickmander's 6th graders shared presentations of the flowers that they created with the second and third graders. These flowers were created using the engineering and design process as part of their of their science curriculum.

To celebrate America Recycles Day in November, the 5th grade had a t-shirt design contest. Yesterday they received their shirts with the winning design by Paige Kemper. The shirts were provided by Keep Keith County Beautiful.
The Paxton FFA Veterinary Science team, consisting of Ainsley McConnell, Haley Holzfaster, Madison Hansen, Jaleigh Hansen, Skylar Johnson, and Eva Crowley, competed in North Platte yesterday 1/31/24. Ainsley, Haley, and Skylar all received white ribbons for their efforts.
The contest consisted of an individual exam and a team practicum which includes veterinary tool ID, animal breeds ID, and parasite ID.

The kindergartners celebrated their 101st day of school yesterday, following the theme of 101 Dalmatians. We celebrated by making hats, completing fine motor stations, and writing what we would do with $101. We even had a fun snack and movie to end the day!
The 6th grade Language Arts class got to finalize their Letter Writing Unit & put their new skills to use by helping the 2nd grade class at Sutherland with their Heart Around the United States project. Way to go Tigers!
Mrs. Schim's freshmen English class was allowed the opportunity to develop an alternative universe in a creative writing assignment. For extra credit points, students were given the option to create a physical replica of the universe. Freshmen students excelled at this project!

The Paxton FFA chapter headed for North Platte early this morning for the first of two district Career Development Event contests. The vet science team is hard at it working on their team practicum after they finished their individual test
